This week was filled with lots of playing with our friends while they packed for their big move to Eugene OR. In the midst of this, we had a day home and decided to walk to our local Farmer's Market at daddy's hospital. Preston rode his bike while I pushed Sylvia in the jogging stroller and had Ethan in the pack. Who knew we could have such a great time with such a simple little excursion! I let the kids choose a treat at the outdoor market. Preston chose his favorite, a big Parmesan bread stick. Sylvia wanted a chocolate cupcake WITH SPRINKLES! Of course she licked off the pile of frosting and left the cupcake. She was left with chocolate from ear to ear and very sticky hands. Good thing there was a bathroom nearby, so with a few wet paper towels she was good to go. After getting some produce, they had a great time playing on a little hill in the courtyard near daddies office. The sunshine was beautiful and the kids we happy just to be outside. Who knew the hospital could provide such a nice afternoon with fun memories. Too bad dad was in surgery so we couldn't pay him our usual office visit. Whenever we are there, the kids love to stop by his office to say hi to dad and pick a treat from his snack drawer.
Since we live so far away from our family, we thought this would be a fun way to help you feel up to date with all that is happening with our little family here in Oregon. Hope it works!
