Our new dog Luke...After 8 months of lots of sweat and tears with our dog CoCo, we didn't feel she was making any more progress and was just not a safe dog for our young family. We replaced her with a dog we got from a friend who is as loving as can be and a great fit for us.
First day of school. Preston was excited to start the 2nd grade and Sylvia thought she was excited to start preschool at the YMCA. Her first day was good, but it has taken a few weeks to get warmed up to going in without crying. She goes 2 days a week which has been great for her. Her teacher is our neighbor!
New wood floor to go with our freshly painted family room. Now we even have a love seat in there to make it a nice cosy place to gather.

Eight kids in the hot tub and chaos ensued! This has been really fun to have for the kids.
At the end of the race, there was a guy making balloon things for the kids. Ethan and Preston had fun sword fighting with them.
These wonderful cheerleaders work in Cordell's office and were awesome to come and support him. Pretty funny signs all about Cordell!
At the finish. Cordell did awesome!! He got first in his age group for the Olympic distance triathalon. It was an early morning for us, but so much fun to support dad and cheer him on. Way to go Cordell. He trained hard for this and did awesome!
