Briana has found a love for her toes, and anything else she can grab. Hair, buttons on her clothes, blankets, noses, you get the idea. She has also been licking everything in front of her. I'm afraid she has a long tongue like me. I can't leave home without having a slime mark from her. No teeth in sight yet, but they may be coming.
Our little squirrel in the house. These nuts are local, and we finally bought a nutcracker to eat them. Preston and Sylvia love to sit at the counter to crack and eat them. They sure do make a mess though.
This is Sylvia all ready for her preschool. She made this monkey mask the week before and wanted to wear it. Too funny. You should see the outfits she picks out sometimes!
Preston practicing the marionette duck puppet that one of Cordell's patients gave him as a gift. So cool!
Briana and Ethan just chillin' on the couch while Preston and Sylvia were swimming with dad at the YMCA.
The other day I was in the bathroom getting ready for the day and Ethan asked what I was doing. I said, "I'm just fixing my hair." He quickly replied, "is it broken mommy?" He has gotten to be quite the chatter box lately. I forget how literal little kids take things!
Since we live so far away from our family, we thought this would be a fun way to help you feel up to date with all that is happening with our little family here in Oregon. Hope it works!

Gun Safety
Our friend brought his boys over with a new bb gun to teach the kids some gun safety and have fun shooting. Our yard was a great place and Preston really enjoyed it. He was sad afterward to learn that the gun was not for him.
Safe shooting...
Not so safe!
Preston turned out to have a pretty good aim.

The Dog at Our House
CoCo getting some love at the end of the day. Sylvia is the most interested in the dog...of course! She likes having something to boss around and yell out for breaking the rules.
Ethan is happy to have a play mate and something to follow him around for a change.
This is a bit backwards. Kind of gross I know. CoCo looks a bit confused as well. I don't know why they think it is so much fun to play where the dog is supposed to sleep. I found Ethan outside in the doghouse the other day. He was inside, with the dogs blanket thrown out. I try not to think of the grossness in there. At least it isn't old right. Oh well...maybe it will build immunity!

Stick Horses From Santa
I failed to post a picture of these with our Christmas ones, so I thought now would be a good time. These were more work than intended, but the kids think they are fun. Ethan still would rather wack things with his rather than ride it...he has a hard time keeping it between his legs. I think his giraffe is my favorite. Sylvia got the pink Unicorn and Preston got the brown Mustang. They love to run "the racetrack" through the kitchen, dining room and living room so this adds to the fun once in a while.
