Christmas In the Park

I was a bad mom and gave our 1 year old some shake and he cried when it was gone. He just kept wanting more.

And the best part of all. Nothing beats a lunch of hamburgers and shakes. Last year was a loser restaurant, but this year we got to try Johnny Rockets. Fun little diner with good food. The onion rings are awesome, Cordell and Preston seemed to enjoy the burgers, and the shakes we fabulous as you can tell from the pictures above.
We let the kids choose one ride. First Sylvia wanted the merry-go-round, but then decided to do what Preston wanted to do. The same thing he chose last year...cars.
My muscle men in front of the "be fit" tree. Isn't the reindeer in the background funny with the basketball shorts. Fun, fun.
African Savanna tree with a side note on saving the animals. Yes, we are indeed living in CA!
Sylvia looks like an angel or something...I think we have dropped our camera too much. Anyway, this was a cool fairy themed tree.
This is an annual event they do in San Jose. FREE! We love free things for the kids. Of coarse we ended up paying for a ride and some food, but hey, we had a great time getting more into the Christmas spirit. This is our second year doing this so I guess we could call it a tradition. We'll see if our small town in OR will have something like this for next year.
The trees above were some of our favorites. If you have seen the movie "UP" you will recognize this tree. So cute!
