I got home from UT afraid that there wouldn't be any nectarines left on our tree...to my surprise, there was just enough for a few to eat and a full pie. My friend has talked about how she makes peach pies (which I have never had) so I decided to try one with our nectarines. It turned out fantastic! It was even a hit with the kids. So, next time you have some good sweet nectarines that you don't know what to do with, try your hand at making a pie. Pretty tasty!
