Well, we're sad to say but it is time to retire Sylvia's most beloved possessions. This used to be one super soft blanket made lovingly by Grandma Great that left fuzzies all over the floor when Sylvia drug it around. The edges started unraveling and it got very smelly from Sylvia chewing on it, so I decided to cut it in half and put on the blanket binding. Now after 3 years of being drug everyone and chewed on all night long, they are irreparable and have been replaced by a not so loved crocheted mommy blanket. Sylvia did a better job letting go than I thought she would. Thanks Grandma Great for such a wonderful thing to love. I think Ethan is getting just as attached to his now.

Ode to the Soft Blankies
