First OR Beach Trip

When we first got to the beach, Ethan was so tired, but so excited. He was running all over the place and tripped at least 8 times. Poor guy. I finally decided it would be safest to carry him at least until we got to the sand. He has two bloody knees during our trip and was one tired guys once we got back to the car to head home!

These were some very beautiful gardens next to the little beach. There was a pond and everything. We hear they are gorgeous in the winter full of lights...We'll have to come check it out then. All for the price of a $5 car entrance. Beats CA beach prices and a garden to boot.

Ethan thought it was funny to steal my hat so he could wear it. Sylvia needed a bit of help climbing on the slippery rocks.

We were so excited to finally see tide pools and found star fish and sea anenames. The kids thought it was pretty cool. I love the rocky, tide pool beaches and the kids did too!

Aren't these cool rock formations! Some of them reminded me of our Southern UT backpacking trips, only these were formed from the water instead of the sand.

Here are two of my beach bums. The water was gorgeous (even though it was a bit cold)!

Lookout over the cliff. A bit different than our CA beaches but so beautiful. We can live with these.

Isn't this a crazy tree root? Too cool! This was a fun and memorable weekend trip before dad had to head back to CA for the month. We sure miss him!!
