Thanks Grandma Smith for the fun, bright rainboots and a friend for the hand-me-down rain jacket. She stayed dry in the rain despite puddle jumping and walking to and from Preston's school without an umbrella all week.
The rain didn't stop the kids from having fun outside. Doesn't that water look yucky!!! Sylvia didn't seem to mind. We got about a week of rain and then a beautiful weekend of sunshine and 60-65 degree weather. Looks like rain is forecast the rest of this week, but the sun sure was wonderful!! The trees are confused and it is spring already in CA. The buds on the trees are sprouting and the bulbs are coming up. There really isn't a winter here. We always say, "you pay for the weather here."
