Can you believe all the snow...this was the middle of August! The kids had a blast sliding on it. I got one leg through it and it went to my knee and it still went deeper.
Amazingly breathtaking! The Volcano that made this was 100 times the magnitude of Mt. Saint Helens.

I have been *in love* with Crater lake since I learned about it a long time ago. I can't wait to go! Did you stay there overnight, or just make a day trip out of it? I am trying to make Jason take me there next summer, and am unsure what to do (camp, get a hotel, etc). Any suggestions?
