These were the coolest chickens at the fair. We also enjoyed seeing cows, sheep, horses and the kids favorite, the goats...they were very friendly. Oh, I almost forgot the baby pigs only a few days old!

This was Preston's favorite game at the fair. I think he almost felt like a real race car driver! His face was so serious, you could tell he was really into it! Cordell enjoyed helping him as well.
Look how big this monster truck is. Preston has only seen these in books so this was pretty neat. We had a fun time at the fair, but there after taking the kids to the rides portion it was a little over kill...too many people! It was like a mini Lagoon smashed into the side of the fair grounds. Sylvia enjoyed watching acrobats on a stage and the animals of coarse. This is a very popular even here in Douglas County, but I think we had our share of fun for at least a year!! We could do without the major attractions and much prefer the old time fair feel. This was pretty huge for a small town.
