Thanks to a fun library book, Preston just had to make a robot. He has had fun learning about how robots were invented and all the jobs they are used for. At the end of the book there was an idea to make one out of recycled items. Preston is a boy who gets in his mind to do these huge projects, usually beyond the resources we have, but this one was doable. I didn't want him to mess with painting it, so you can see exactly what kind of items were used. Mom's job was to hot glue it all together, but Preston did the rest. We thought it turned out pretty cute. Now if has a great display place in dad's office!
