This year Preston asked for his 2nd birthday party. I am okay with that as long as they don't expect a big extravaganza. He invited 5 friends and they all came. We played some games inside, had a lunch that Preston planned, and had apple crisp for his birthday dessert. We got lucky with some decent weather so the boys played outside for a bit which was fabulous. Preston has a great group of friends! He seems to get along with everyone and everyone seems to like him. His siblings are lucky to have him for a big brother. He is not the cuddly typ but puts up with Ethan's roughness and Sylvias silly play. He does what he is told (most of the time...as long as it does not involve cleaning the bathroom or another "gross" job). Preston has always been such an easy going kid. We can't believe he is 9! We followed tradition and went to Red Robin for his birthday dinner. He always turns a little red in the face when they sing the loud birthday song to him for everyone to hear.
